Party and Picnic Keg Taps

Party and Picnic Keg Tap

If your next outdoor party, picnic, backyard BBQ's or tailgate needs draft beer setup, we can provide the perfect solution for you. We have a wide variety of solutions from hand pup keg taps, foot pump keg taps to a complete portable CO2 based system. Most small gatherings lasting a couple of hours can be easily served with our hand pump keg taps. These are easy to setup and are economical while still providing you a good tasting draft beer. Our hand pumps are all metal with no plastic parts making them one of the best ones out there. In case you are looking for a more elegant solution to pour beer faster and easier you can choose from one of our foot operated uber taps. These come with a foot pump which allows for hands free dispensing. Our Uber Tap with 3 faucets will keep your line moving quickly while allowing for an easy way to dispense beer at your party. Both hand pump and foot pump pushes air into the keg to pump the beer out. For that reason, beer in the keg should be consumed in a couple of hours to enjoy its freshness. The keg is typically kept cold in an ice bucket.
We also carry complete CO2 based portable keg tap systems. These come with complete setup to dispense beer in your party using a CO2 system. Some of these include a mini CO2 regulator and cartridges that make the setup very portable. Others come with a 5 lb CO2 cylinder, regulators etc. Those can be configured so that you can purchase just the items you need.
In either case you will have to know how to tap a keg. Once you have made all the connections you can begin by first ensuring that the lever handle on the Sankey tap is in “up” position and all the faucets are closed. Then align the coupler lugs with the openings at the top of the keg and press the coupler down until it fits inside the neck of the keg. Next, turn the complete assembly until the grooves lock into place and the tap is secure on the keg. To start the beer flowing simply pull the handle on the side of the tap and then push it down to engage it into the keg. All that is now left is to pump and enjoy cold beer from the faucet. In case of foot pump Uber Taps make sure that you do not over pump. It takes only a couple of depressions to get the beer flowing well. Over pumping can cause foam and extra pressure will have to settle down before beer can flow correctly.
